Project storyProject Overview
This Jubilee Hills duplex was developed as a layered family residence with a strong sense of arrival and a warm, ceremonial character. Rather than applying ornament everywhere, the design concentrates detail around the staircase, ceiling, pooja room and principal furniture pieces. This creates moments of richness while allowing the larger spaces to remain balanced and welcoming.
Design Concept
The design concept interprets traditional Indian craftsmanship through a cleaner contemporary lens. Carved wood, warm metal tones and stone surfaces bring depth, while controlled symmetry and generous negative space keep the home from feeling visually crowded.
Client Requirements
The clients wanted a gracious duplex that reflected Indian design heritage without appearing dated. They prioritized a distinctive pooja room, an elegant master suite, a memorable staircase and comfortable spaces for extended family gatherings.
